Experimental and fatigue test bench for gearboxes

Experimental and fatigue test bench for universal Reducers and Motor reducers from 1.000 to 10.000 Nm with energy recovery. Considerable attention was given to the ergonomics design and the set-up, positioning, loading and unloading of the various categories and types of gearboxes to be tested become simple activities. The energy recovery system generates lower test bench management costs. The idea that has been applied to the system multiplies the output speed. It allows you to test a wide range of gear reducers with very different couples. The problem was managing to test gear reducers at low speed of a drive train that is designed to withstand higher torques up to 10,000 Nm while obtaining effective accuracy of the acquired data. Using CAmeleoTE® software, which was developed in LabView, allows the operator to easily reprogram the test cycle, for both the tests to be run and for the data to be acquired. The change system allows clients to try a range of gearboxes for which at least three benches would be needed instead of one.
