Test bench for water piston pumps

End of line test bench for water piston pumps up to 800 bar pressure. It automatically and safely tests piston pumps up to 800 bar. It carries out a cycle that can be set in order to generate the appropriate functional test conditions, ranging from the maximum flow to maximum pressure, including a break-in cycle, functional stress, system flush-out, flow control parameters, pressure, number of revolutions, torque and temperature. The software developed in LabView runs both the automatic functions and the data control and acquisition. Our lengthy experience in developing and creating test benches for water pumps allows for proportional control of the discharge pressure in a linear manner and not based on points. The use of silencers which we develop guarantees a discharge flow which is quiet and turbulent free. The set up time for the various types of pumps makes changing the model and fastening the pumps practical and fast. The automatic and proportional running of the bottleneck valves generates a linear and realistic Flow/Pressure curve.
